Service Description

In "Intro to Hand Building" you will learn about the possibilities of clay outside of the wheel! Using techniques such as coil building, slab rolling, pinching, pulling and more, you will learn how to create forms and expand your knowledge of clay. The possibilities are endless! Each six-week session costs $245 per student and includes: - Detailed instruction and demos during your class time - "Open Studio" practice hours (Tuesday and Saturday 12-4, Thursday 4-9) - 25 pounds of clay, use of studio glazes, and free firings for pieces made in class - Tools are not included but a basic kit can be purchased at your first class
