8-Week Course - Themed Hand Building

Service Description
We’re so excited to have the incredible Alex Lewis back to lead hand-builders of all skill levels through the art of crafting jugs, crocks, and fermenting jars. In this class, you’ll dive into rich folk art traditions—both regional and beyond—while exploring the beautiful intersection where functional craft meets fine art. Each eight-week session costs $340 per student and includes: - Detailed instruction and demos during your class time - "Open Studio" practice hours (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday 12-4, Thursday 4-9) - 25 pounds of clay, use of studio glazes, and free firings for pieces made with course clay - Tools are not included but a basic kit can be purchased at your first class

Cancellation Policy
Bookings canceled 7 calendar days or more prior to the Eight-Week Course will receive a refund, minus a $15 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after this time - but at least 48 hours prior to the class - are eligible for a refund only if a substitute student is available to take their place. Yellow Door will not refund or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice.
