CLASSES FOR KIDS, TWEENS, AND TEENS
Do you have a child who loves art and ceramics but is not old enough to attend a regular One-Night Class (16+) or Six-Week Session (18+)?
Yellow Door offers One-Time Classes for Kids, Tweens, and Teens in both Wheel-Throwing and Hand-Building!
A wheel-throwing class includes 2 hours of instruction where your child will be guided through the basic steps of throwing a cylinder on the wheel. They will get to make and keep up to three pots. Pottery made will be glazed by Yellow Door and available for pick-up three weeks following the class. This class is offered for both Tweens and Teens (ages 9-17).
A hand-building class includes 1.5 hours of instruction where the child will be guided through a specific project, anywhere from pinch-pot animals to a slab-built mug! Please check the class registration description to see what project is assigned for that day. We offer this class for all age groups.

All classes are $45/student. Parents are welcome to register for a spot if they would like to take the class alongside their child.

Drop off: Parents are welcome to stay and watch or take photos of their child, or have a seat and use our wifi, etc!
Parents dropping children off must sign in children and pick up children with picture identification. If someone else will be picking a child up from class, they must be specified at drop off and must provide picture identification.
Late fees will incur if a child is not picked up ten minutes after class of $5 every 5 minutes.
